Moroccothon: Build Day

One Saturday. One real problem. Something that works by 5pm.

Moroccothon brings together engineers, designers, product people and anyone curious about building with AI for a day of making real software for Moroccan and MENA owned small businesses in New York.

You don't need to write code to belong on a team.
You'll leave with new friends in the community and maybe a future cofounder.
You'll also have something you actually shipped and can show people.

Why come
· Meet 40 Moroccan and MENA builders from engineering, design, product and business
· Work with mentors who go from team to team all day
· Build for a real client who's in the room, with a real problem that needs solving
· Leave with a working project for your portfolio that you fully own
· Pick up AI build tools by using them on a real problem
· Help a business in our own community

The businesses are real. A New York law firm spends thousands a month on ads and wants a private AI setup for client intake and call notes that doesn't put attorney-client privilege at risk.
A food truck is struggling to keep up with orders.
A fashion startup has outgrown its spreadsheets and needs an ERP.
Another owner wants clients, reservations, purchases, expenses, invoices and payments in one system, with a dashboard that shows whether the business is actually profitable.

The owners come in person to present their problems.
